What
is Live Blackjack?
Our Live Casino Blackjack offers you the best of online and casino
gaming. You get to play from your computer, tablet or phone, wherever and
whenever you want to. But you’ll be playing at a real casino blackjack table.
Rather than being virtual games, our Live Blackjack takes place at an
actual table run by a real casino dealer. You’ll see the game played in
real-time and can hit, stick, split or double down live as the action unfolds.
How
to Play Live Blackjack For Real Money?
Just like standing in a real casino, you’ll be playing for real money in
our BoyleSports Live Casino games. The money you bet on each hand of blackjack
will be real. And if you step away from a blackjack table with winnings, you’ll
be able to cash them out as money in your account.
How
to Bet in Live Blackjack?
You’ll play our Live Blackjack in the same way you’d play in a
brick-and-mortar casino.
First, choose which table you want to play at. You’ll see all our Live
Blackjack games available in the Live Casino lobby. And you’ll also see how
many other players are currently sitting at each table.
At the start of a new round, you’ll be invited to place a bet. The
dealer will then hand you two cards, face-up. The dealer will also take two
cards, usually one face-up and one face-down. Your aim in blackjack is to get
closer to a total of 21 than the dealer, without going over. If you go over 21,
your hand is bust.
Once you have your cards, you can:
●
Stand: Stick with
your hand.
●
Hit: Take another
card.
●
Double down: Take another
card and double your bet.
●
Split: Turn a
matching pair of cards from one hand into two.
Once you’re finished, if your hand is closer to 21 than the dealer’s,
you win.
Live
Blackjack Rules & Side Bets
During a round of blackjack, each player will take their turn to stand,
hit, double down or split. The dealer is usually the last one to complete their
hand, and every player that beats the dealer wins.
We run a range of Live Blackjack tables, some of them offering a
selection of side bets you can place alongside the main action. These can
include:
Insurance
Bets
If the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace, you can place a bet that the
dealer has a blackjack (a total of 21). If the dealer does, you lose your main
hand, but you win the side bet and your stake back – an insurance bet uses half
your stake, but at 2:1 odds, meaning you get your original bet back.
Perfect
Pairs
You place a bet on whether or not your first two cards dealt are a pair.
You win if they’re a:
●
Mixed pair: Two cards of
the same value but different suits and colours.
●
Coloured
pair: Two cards of the same value and the same colour.
●
Perfect pair: A pair of
the same two cards of the exact same value and suit.
21+3
Here you place sidebets on your first two cards plus the dealer’s
upturned card. You win the bet if the three cards together form one of the
following:
●
Flush: All three are
suit cards.
●
Straight: All three
cards are consecutive values.
●
Three of a kind: The cards
are the same value, but not the same suit.
●
Straight
flush: All three cards are consecutive values, and also the same suit.
●
Suited
triple: All three cards are identical, the same value and suit.
Payouts
Main bets in blackjack are paid out 1:1, meaning you get your initial
stake back plus the same amount you bet. If you placed a winning £5 bet, you’d
receive £10, (your £5 stake plus £5 of winnings).
Bets in blackjack typically offer the following payouts (although
individual games can vary):

Casino Blackjack FAQs
What’s
the Difference Between Online Blackjack Games and Live Blackjack?
Online blackjack games are played against a simulated dealer, with
virtual graphics, and they use a random number generator (RNG) to draw cards
that can’t be predicted.
With Live Blackjack, you’ll be playing at a real table (although
online), run by a real-life dealer and using real sets of cards. It gives you
the experience of Live Casino Blackjack via your screen, from the comfort of
your own home.
Is
Live Blackjack Actually Live?
Yes it is. Our Live Casino Blackjack dealers sit at real casino tables
and use real cards. The action is filmed by multiple cameras and live-streamed
to your screen. You can interact with the dealers in real-time, with voice and
text options.
